i didnt find you email adress and i believe this blog is some years old? Really hope you get my message though. I am agirl living in norway, but my father is from iraq. he was so happy when he found you old pictures from iraq because it reminded him of his life growing up in iraq. I actually took one of your pictures and painted it because my father liked it so much, and i feel you should see it.

Hi- please look on my website rivkahlapidus.com for my dad's photographs of the Persian Gulf during World War II. He was stationed there and all of his photographs of Baghdad, Basra, Teheran are in an archive at Harvard University's Museums. Look on the sub-page of Family Project and tell me what you think.
